We had a great turnout for the Eskimos dressing room tour. The Wolverines want to thank the Eskimos Football Club, and in particular Coach Bruce Williams, for showing the players and parents this incredible facility. The team saw not only one of the best (if not the best) dressing room in North America, but a practice and training facility that is the envy of every other CFL (or, for that matter, NFL) team.
We will be announcing our 2012 Gym Night schedule soon.

Wolverines Announce The Return of the Bantams
December 9, 2011 - The Wolverine Bantams are back.
Team President Craig Hall said today, "We're happy to make it official; the Wolverine Bantams will be taking the field again in 2012." The team took a one-year hiatus in 2011 due to a number of reasons, not the least of which was the fact that the 2010 team graduated most of its roster and there was an unusually small number of graduating PeeWees. That, combined with some on-field factors faced by the 2010 team, made for some significant challenges - which the Wolverines are confident have now been overcome.
"We're really looking forward to this season," said Hall. "We've made a huge number of personnel changes, both with the coaching staff and the front office; and we've brought back a lot of the folks from previous seasons where we had some pretty good success. We've also put together a plan that's designed to take us forward for the next three to five seasons. It's a fresh start, but we're not starting from scratch; far from it. In fact, I kind of like the description of 'Back To The Future'. The people that we have in place know how to put a successful program together. We'll be going back to our roots; player development, playing time, and preparing our kids for the next level. And the emphasis will be on having fun while learning football.
"The first thing we're doing is to have a big information session, which will happen December 15. We're looking for players and parents who are interested in finding out about us to come out, meet our coaches and executive, and find out about what it means to be a Wolverine."
The new staff for 2012 will consist of a highly-experienced cadre of coaches, headed by Wolverine Coaching Director Brad Reid. Coach Reid has coached the Wolverines Bantams and Midgets for many years, and is enthusiastic about what lies ahead not only for 2012 but for 2013 as well.
A complete list of the coaches, as well as their bios, will soon be available on the Bantam Team Staff page.
