Meet The 2012 Coaching Staff

Brad will be returning for his second term as the Bantam Head Coach in 2012. He has had many years of coaching and playing experience. After finishing his high-school playing days in Edmonton at McNally Composite High School, Brad spent two seasons coaching with the McNally Tigers. Brad has also coached soccer at the high school level, as well as minor baseball in Edmonton. He has been involved with the Wolverines for eight seasons, serving as the Club's current Director of Coaching and has been the Head Coach for the Wolverine Midgets since their inception.
James comes to the Wolverines this year with an impressive resume. His football coaching experience began in 2006 as the defensive coordinator for the Hillside Senior High Cougars in Valleyview, Alberta. In 2009 he moved to Sherwood Park and has since coached with the Atom Broncos, Pee Wee SabreCats and the Sherwood Park Renegades senior men’s team. In addition, he has coached both recreational and competitive soccer for several years. James believes in player development both on and off the field. This year will mark his fourth season of coaching football in Sherwood Park.

<img src="file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/craighall/Library/Application%20Support/Adobe/Contribute%20CS4/en_US/Sites/Site3AssetsTemp/Justin%20Holubitsky%20Coaches%20Graphic.png" width="285" height="176">Justin had an outstanding playing career at at Bev Facey High School from 2001 to 2004 as both an offensive and defensive lineman, and was a member of the 2002 Tier I Provincial Championship team. After his playing days, he then stayed with the squad as an assistant coach in 2005 and 2006, with both the Junior and Senior teams. The Wolverines are pleased and excited to welcome Justin to the coaching staff.

James returns to the Wolverine coaching staff this season as a third-year coach. His football career started with the Sherwood Park Northstars as a linebacker and running back, after which he moved on to play his High School football with the Salisbury Sabers. For the past two seasons, he has been the Running Backs coach for the Wolverine Midgets. He is looking forward to continuing his career as a Wolverine coach and the club is more than happy to have a young coach of James' ability and desire.

Anthony re-joins the Wolverines this year as a fifth-year football coach. After playing his minor football with the Edmonton Chargers, Anthony played with the McNally Tigers from 2000 to 2002 and was invited to the St. Mary's Huskies training camp. Although his playing career was cut short by injuries, Anthony gained the benefit of learning from mentors at a very high level, including CFL and NCAA Division I and II coaches. After spending the last few seasons as a DB coach with the Midget team, Anthony now looks forward to once again passing that knowledge on to our Bantams. The Wolverines are certainly pleased to have Anthony's expertise and abilities.
Originally from Sherwood Park, Ryan began his football playing career With the Bantam Wolverines and was a member of the 2005 Tier II Championship team. After that, he spent the next three seasons playing for the Wolverine Midgets. Ryan's high school playing days were spent with the Bev Facey Falcons, where he played as a slot back and place kicker. He was a member of the Provincial Tier I Championship teams om 2007 and 2008.
